Low Inventory Scottsdale Waterfront Residences

The two highly popular Scottsdale Waterfront towers located on Scottsdale and Camelback Roads are seeing their lowest supply of Luxury Condo for Sale. Only 10 Condos, 1 Penthouse is for sale out of the 199 units available in these buildings. For a long time the inventory of homes for sale in these building consisted of an average of 32 at a time for the past few years, now down to 10, there will be a serious Supply and Demand issue if you would like to live in these Luxury Condos. If you are looking for Location Location Location with numerous amenities, The Scottsdale Waterfront do have that at their advantage. They May be threatened with the newly developed Optima Sonoran Village being constructed to their West, but I still think with their more traditional styling they will always be the most sought out Condos to live in.

Downtown Scottsdale Gets “More Condos”

Approved was the new condo development in downtown Scottsdale, Optima Sonoran Village, which will include 493 residential units and 40,000 square feet of commercial, retail and amenity space, for a total of about 726,700 square feet of floor space. Five 7 story buildings will be arranged around two courtyards. I do give the Optima credit for going green with their developments and hopefully they will carry that trend over to this development as well. With their contemporary designs, floor to ceiling glass windows, and lush landscaping. They are  definitely a great condominium developer, I really enjoy the Optima Camel View, but is Scottsdale ready for another luxury development?

But will these 7 story buildings effect the neighborhoods around it? How are the residents of the neighboring homes going to react with these buildings towering into their privacy? Is that corner of 68th st and Camelback Rd. ready for triple the traffic of both foot and transportation? What is going to happen to the housing market with adding 493 units to the already over-saturated condo market, will this truly add to the economy or will we have another half empty complex out there?
